Botanicheskaya is a 60,000 sqm mixed-use development planned for Moscow, designed in 2013 as a redevelopment of a former factory site. The project was conceived as both a retail and entertainment center and a transport interchange, with special attention given to creating a symbiotic relationship…

Background

The development faced numerous challenges due to its complex site conditions, including the need to connect different transportation means across the entire site. The design team had to work around significant constraints, particularly the underground metro tunnel that pushed the main building location toward Krestinskogo Road. Despite these challenges, the project aimed to serve as a catalyst for future development in the region, establishing itself as an important hub in the neighborhood's life.

What We Did

We created exterior visualizations for the Botanicheskaya project, showcasing how the design would transform the former factory site into a vibrant mixed-use development. Our renderings highlighted the building's relationship with its surroundings, illustrating how the architectural solution addressed the site's unique shape, existing roads, and access points.
